I wonder if they have let their quality slide lately?

I just bought one of these yesterday, after reading all the rave reviews, and the power switch broke the first time I tried to turn it on. Looking at it now, the power switch is plastic and seems very cheaply built. I will probably try another one, since I like the overall design of the tool, but I am suspicious of the quality after this incident.

i dont have to purchase this product again, I'm on my third one. All i sand is small wooden knife handles on the weekends and each machine has lasted about a month. I am familiar with the use of all power tools and i assure you i do not beat on the machine, i keep it spotless by constantly blowing it out during use. The only upside is that it always fails within the time period that allows you to swap for a new one. The downside is repacking it and returning it ruins my momentum for the day.
